Zumaya Artist and Authors News – Apr 2014

NEWS

ZP cover artist Charles Bernard just recently completed the following cover for one of his other clients. The cover is for a science fiction story about an emperor, love, power, betrayal and murder and this cover is Charles’s latest art cover for the series.

For even more fun, Charles made a video showing his entire process – from the original email contact letter from a publisher to the delivery of the finished product. And he even reads (well, has the computer read to him) the book! Which is an awesome way to get the artist’s creativity flowing.
To see/hear his journey click the link The Creative Process for Painting Book Cover Illustrations or watch it below.

APPEARANCES

Rie Sheridan Rose will be attending the Austin International Poetry Festival April 3-6 and will also be doing several readings there.
